A944 (Cabernet Sauvignon, Barbera), Federico Fedrizzi

Federico Fedrizzi is one of the youngest agronomist-winegrower-owners in Italy. The irrepressible passion that animates him can be read in every word and every movement. Federico Fedrizzi's wines are simple and immediate, but never banal.

A944 is a still red wine, 50% Barbera and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon vinified in steel. Blending takes place at least one year after the harvest, depending on the vintage. 

Grapes: 50% cabernet sauvignon 50% barbera

Organoleptic characteristics: Intense purple red colour, with notes of red fruit such as plums and black cherries, and a vegetal note of pepper and black tea, and a hint of red pepper leaf. A full and unexpected sip. Wine ready, without having to wait. Balanced wine, easy to drink, clean, slightly tannic, warm, full-bodied and persistent.

Pairings: Tagliatelle with meat sauce and lasagne bolognese, grilled beef.
