TOH! Friuliano DOC 2022, by Lenardo

The Friulian "Toh" is one of the flagship white wines of the Di Lenardo winery, aged only in steel to preserve the primary aromas of the grape. It has a scent of white flowers, sweet almonds and citrus fruits and a delicate, soft and rounded palate. It is obtained from 100% Friulano grapes, selected and harvested strictly by hand. The production philosophy is aimed at the genuine expression of the grape, guaranteed by a vinification that takes place in stainless steel only and by refinement on the fine lees in the same containers.

It is one of the most famous expressions of the Di Lenardo winery, founded in 1878.

Characteristics organoleptic: Fresh, mineral, with a delicately savory finish, it best expresses the gravelly and clayey terroir of the vineyards. Of a pleasant straw yellow, sometimes with greenish reflections. Immediately recognizable for the typical notes of bitter almond and green apple, with a very soft and persuasive aftertaste.

Pairings: The most classic of pairings, it splendidly accompanies molluscs, crustaceans or fish. Also try it together with peppers, artichokes, asparagus (white or green).
